Linkin Park with second single from their new album

After an impressive return to Linkin Park with their single pilot The Catalyst, a part of their fourth studio album A Thousand Suns, they made another surprise for fans with innovative and challenging sounds of “Waiting For The End”. Video to the song again is directed by DJ-band it to Joseph Hahn, who was behind most of the band videos, including the previous “The Catalyst”. With his new musical project A Thousand Suns, Linkin Park openly declare their intention to re-conquer peaks the charts. “Waiting For The End” stands as an interesting musical combination – at the very beginning, the rhythm may be confused with the typical style of Jay-Z, then the song turns to reggae-rap of Mike Shinoda, to spill over into the crystal voice Chester, salient in the chorus. The song is Linkin Park with a classic sound, but is its complete opposite. This is a piece constituting in itself a strong contrast between the almost melancholic refrains and rhymes of Shinoda.

Linkin Park will present officially the new video of “The Catalyst”

Linkin ParkLinkin Park have announced the official date of release of the video for “The Catalyst” – August 26. The premiere will be held on MTV / VH1, as well as MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV Tr3s and all other local music television networks. Previous day “The Catalyst” will appear online sites of the television. All media will warm up with broadcasting 30-second clip and exclusive footage from the filming of the video. Director of the clip is Joe Hahn. “When we came to the visual part of the song, I thought about the end of the world ‘How will the world look if someone changed our destiny with the push of a button?” ‘How would you feel accepting his fate in a moment of destruction? ” ‘What will we do in the last hour? ” When the creator of the atomic bomb – J. Robert Oppenheimer, described the first attempt to detonation, he quoted the Bhagavad Gita – “If hundreds of thousands of suns suddenly rises in the sky, their brightness can assimilate radiance of the Supreme Person in the Catholic form.” Said the director. World radio premiere of “The Catalyst” was held on August 2. The song debuted at # 1 in the rock charts at Billboard – an event happening in the first 14 months since the thematic rating. Studies show that this is the most listened song in the alternative, mainstream rock and AAA radio stations overseas.
